How much a Spanish wedding cost?

A Spanish  wedding has the same essential elements as a local wedding. You’ll want invitations, a dress, rings, a venue, catering, a florist, music, a photographer, cake, and an officiant. Travel, accommodations, group activities, little extras, and a full-service destination wedding planner are the factors that will end up costing more.

However, there are some details of destination weddings that could save you money. Destinations in countries where the currency exchange rate works in your favor will typically end up being less costly because your money will go further.

Usually, travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the guests. Your Spanish wedding in Spain may include airfare, a few nights at a hotel, meals and some sightseeing, in addition to the wedding itself, and local transportation. Also, they may have to shop for appropriate clothing for the location and perhaps take days off from work.

Ask your coordinator (s) if they can offer transportation to and from the airport.

The number of guests will influence your decisions in everything, starting with the place. The average destination wedding in Spain is around 70 guests

Consider your wedding date, it is the most important on the budget.

In Spain we recommend avoiding the crowds in high season and book your wedding during a quieter time for the venue. A spring or fall mid-season will have the best prices for airfare, banquet, guest rooms, and all vendors. Or if you want high season to choose a day from Monday to Thursday, the same service will be much cheaper.

For this reason we recommend that our clients get married on a Thursday, because they will have exactly the same wedding with a totally different budget, and once the wedding is over they will be able to enjoy a few days in Spain.
